One of the best ways to remotely monitor and control HVAC settings is with the NEST Thermostat. As you can see from the photo, temperature is set to 65 degrees. The current indoor temperature is 69 degrees with an inside humidity is at 50% and an outside temperature at 54 degrees. To control indoor humidity with the NEST Thermostat, turn on the air conditioner and lower the temperature until the indoor humidity level you desire is reached. In Florida, an indoor humidity level of between 45% and 55% according to the University of Central Florida. Anything above 55% is consider to be high.
